设计理念：

通过学习本单元的内容，掌握表示天气情况的词语，使学生学会描述不同的天气状况,表达自己的情感。并且了解英语文化背景下天气话题的内涵。本单元主要谈论天气，可以结合地理方位，国家名称来扩大学生的知识范围。充分利用多媒体和真实场景的设计，使学生切实理解现在进行时的用法。

学习目标：

学习重点：实现认知目标和语言目标

学习难点：实现交际目标和素养目标

教学准备：

1.准备有关天气和表现“现在进行时”的图片和视频资料。

2.制作课堂教学所需要的课件。

3.设计、准备每一项调查所需要的语言项目。

4．制作课堂任务表格或者设计任务型教学方案，在课前准备或上课时供师生使用

任务设计二：天气进行时：

Write a report about different weather and about how you like it.

When it is raining, the world is very clear and the air is nice. Ilike rain very much. When it is raining, I love to stay at home and sleep.

任务设计三：Whatam I doing?

要求记录自己一周中每一天的三个具体时刻自己正在做什么，到周末的时候做一下汇总，谈谈自己这一周的收获和体会。写出英文报告。

任务设计四：好友链接——和亲友交流沟通

利用业余时间和自己的亲朋好友进行电话联系或者对面交流，谈谈现在正在做什么？最近一段时间正在做什么？记录其中有趣的或者对你有启发的对话。比较我们和朋友之间的异同，借鉴和学习他们健康的生活方式，高效的工作方法。

教学过程：

Step 1: 四人小组活动：

各自来自不同的国家,住在不同的城市，彼此询问天气情况。在组织此活动之前老师可以用幻灯片出示不同国家城市以及天气的图片带领学生做一个简短的复习，也为学生的对话做好提示。

所需用到的句型结构：

Where are you from? / Where do you come from?

Where do you live?

How’s the weather there? / What’s the weather like there?

Step2: Learning 3a on Page15.

Firstly: The teacher takes out the four cards with four differentkinds of faces to make the students know what do they stand for, then askstudents to finish the match exercise in 3a.

Secondly: learning the new drill: How’s it going? Great./Terrible…… 教是可以把自己手中的四张图片发给四名学生由学生帮助完成新对话的教授。

Lastly: Pair work: Ask students draw a face they like, then workin pairs, ask and answer using the new drill.

Step3: Finish Exercise1 in the paper like this:
