    Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing mylesson with you. I prepare to say the lesson from five parts.

    Part 1: Analysis of the Teaching Material

    I. Topic introduction

    本单元的中心话题为“急救”,具体涉及生活急救常识,即在一些紧急情况下应采取的急救措施,尤为详细地陈述了“烧伤”的急救常识,并通过一个真实的第一时间对被刺伤者进行急救的故事阐明急救的重要性。语言学习的词汇(词性转换与填词)和语法(省略)以急救为载体展开,内容与形式相辅相成,学生在了解急救常识的同时掌握了与急救相关的词汇和句子。本节课是复习本单元的内容,做好单词,短语及部分句型的回顾工作并为以后的学习做好铺垫。

    II. Analysis of the students

    As Senior2 Ss, they are at differentlevels of English fluency, some of them have lost interest in English. Soduring the lesson, I arrange a variety of activities to let all of them join into attract their interest and let them be confident and taste the joy ofsuccess.

    III. Teaching objectives

    1.Knowledge objectives:Review unit 5,master the realted words and useful expressions of frist aid.

    2.Ability objectives: Improve students’ abilities of speakingand writing.

    3.Emotion objectives:Train students’ abilities of studying byyourself and cooperating. IV. Teaching keys and difficult points

    The key points of this lesson :To masterthe important words and sentences patterns of this unit .

    The difficult points of this lesson: Howto help the Ss have the ability to use what they’ve learnt to do first aid treatment forburns correctly and help them write short article about first aid.

    V. Teaching aids:

    Part 3 Studying Methods:

    • a)Encourage the students to communicatein English bravely in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere.

    • b) Help the students understand the newknowledge through seeing, hearing, saying, observing, imagining , thinking etc.

    Part 4 Teaching Process:

    • Step1 Lead-in

    Show them a good article to attract theirattention and lead in the new lesson. • Step2 Presentation and practice.

    1.Show some important words on the screenlet them read it together in order to let them pay attention to them and masterthem better.

    2.Complete the sentences and correct themistakes in the sentences (This step is designed to help them review the usefulsentences in this unit.)

    3.To reappear the key points in thelearning plan and let them do more exercises. Step 3Let the students write thewords and structres on the blackboard (paper for writing an article )

    Students work in groups to write down ashort passage about how you will give her first aid for burns.(By this step, itachieved the teaching aim of developing the students’ abilities of speaking and writing aboutfirst aid. )

    Part 5 Self-evaluation and predictions

    • In my design, I follow the demands of thenew English Curricular Standards, apply the Communication Approach andTask-based Approach to make the students the active participants in class.

    • In this lesson, I use PPT and write thedifficult points with different color chalk, thus break through the difficultpoints. And I designed several tasks. By having a competition and making anarticle, the students will become very interested in speaking and learningEnglish, and in these activities, they can master the knowledge easily.

    About reading ,Purpose of my design:Enablestudents to understand the given material better using different reading skills. To present PPT is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. Itcan provide a real situation with its sound and picture and it makes therelationships between the Ss better. In this course, Ss can understand the maincontents of this passage and get the key points by following the steps.

    Step4. Listening

    Listen to the tape of his passage withoutlooking at the book.At the same time try to fill in the blanks of the condensedpassage.The purpose is to practise the students’ listening skill and have a revision aboutthe passage.

    Step5.Post-reading

    After listening, student can discuss andtalk these The task is to develop the Ss’ abilities to speak and express in English

    Purpose of my design: Most Ss can taketheir parts in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble inEnglish study. In the group activities, they can speak a little English.Without doubt, this will encourage them to speak English.In fact, it is a kindof demand of human being. This step also leads to the emotion objective of thislesson, that is to have moral education in this step.

    一.说教材

    本单元的核心内容是First aid.本课时是这一单元的第一课时,中心话题是本课的话题贴近生活因此很容易引起学生的兴趣去学习本节课的内容。由于传统的英语教学太过于强调笔试而忽略了英语的实际运用能力的培养。因此我将结合本节课的教学内容和性质利用任务型教学方法强化学生的听和说这两块英语的训练,提高他们对英语的运用能力。通过小组讨论对话的形式让学生同学之间相互学习,学会合作,以达到本课时教学的目标。根据教学大纲及本单元教学内容及高中生的生理和心理他点确定本节课教学目标为:

    1.教学目标:通过听、说的英语学习过程,让学生掌握本节课中接触到的关于“急救”方面的单词、短语,让学生了解学习急救方法的重要性,激发学生关心他人和自己的安全,提醒他人和自己努力避免事故发生,并积极学习急救措施。

    2.教学重点:根据高中英语课程培养标准和本节课的性质我将本节课的教学重点确定为通过听一篇关于First aid的听力,了解一些急救知识和提高听力水平。

    3.教学难点:鉴于高中生的英语水平及不太敢说英语的心理及本节课的教学内容,我把本节课的教学难点确定为如何使学生消除心理障碍开口学生说英语,并说地道英语。

    二.说学情

    经过一段时间普通高中英语课程的学习,学生打好了一定的英语语言基础,掌握了高中英语学习的方法,譬如,他们会运用观察、体验、探究等积极主动的学习方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习习惯。他们的情感已完成了一个阶段性的过渡,能够独立思考和判断事物,因此学生的这些基础为本课时和本单元Festival around the world的教学奠定了基础。但高中生的英语口语能力比较弱所以要加强和提高。所以在设计本教学时应以轻松和缓的气氛使学生肯用英语对话而且说得地道。

    三.说教法和学法

    1.教法:新课标倡导教师在教学过程中的主导作用及学生在这一过程中的

    主体作用,要求老师与学生、共同参与课堂。我灵活运用任务教学法、小组讨论问答法、合作法、鼓励鞭策法这四种方法逐步引导学生讲英语,发挥出他们最大的英语交潜能,使学生、老师在教学活动中享受其中的乐趣。

    2.学法

    A.养成听英语的习惯

    学生要养成利用各种机会听英文的习惯,听老师讲英语,听同学讲英语一快速提高自己英语的口语水平。

    B.科学储备大量知识

    掌握一定量的词汇和语法知识,以提高自己的英语语言交流、沟通能力,学生在应用中学,在实践中学,这样学来的知识记忆深刻,灵活度大。

    C.积极操练,重在口头

    英语是应用型的东西,听和说很关键。因此在课堂上,学生要积极参与教师设计的每个教学活动,要大胆开口说英语,创造性地把自己想说的话用英语表达出来。课后和其他同学多用英语进行沟通交流。只有这样,才能将书本

    知识变成自己的知识和转化成语言能力,才能达到脱口说英语的境界。

    四.说教学过程

    Step1.导入部分

    用媒体播放几张图片导入

    然后问学生1.上述这些情况他们该怎么做?

    2.问他们了解多少关于急救方面的知识?

    3.要求学生阅读Warming-up中First aid 的定义并要求他们就下面的一段材料填空:

    First aid is the first kind of ______given to someone who suddenly ______

    ______ or get ______ before a doctor canbe found. Often the ______ or ______ is not serious, there are other times whengiving first aid quickly can save one life.

    通过多媒体及问题导入,直观地让学生对“急救”有了初步的感性认识,为后面的学习奠定基础。

    Step2.分组讨论和问答

    用多媒体播放一下Pre-reading中的图片,然后鼓励学生用英语相互之间就以下两个问题:

    1. What has happened to the little girl?

    2. What kind of first aid would youperform in this situation?

    来讨论交流自己的看法。

    此环节攻克了教学难点,让学生克服了说英语的心理障碍。提高了口语交际能力和培养了他们的合作学习精神。

    Step3听力训练(Listening training)

    听WB Page69。

    一.听文本提出了一个紧急电话中一名女子救护车有accident. Before听她的女儿谁是问,问他们是否曾经有过手机紧急电话号码(警察,消防,救护车)的学生,引导学生从之类的信息,他们将需要给操作。

    二.听听力

    The listening text presents an emergencyphone call in which a woman is asking for an ambulance for her daughter who hadan accident. Before listening, ask students whether they have ever had to phonean emergency number (police,fire, ambulance).Elicitfrom them the sort of information they would need to give the operator.

    2. Ask students in pairs to make adialogue on their own.

    3. Ask several pairs to act out theirdialogues. While performing, tell them to stand with their backs to each other,which is to simulate an authentic situation. 这个谈话活动的目的是为了给学生实践的机会,一个紧急电话。学生可以作为模型使用的监听通道。

    Step5作业布置

    1.上网搜索在日常生活中的一些突发受伤事件,学会如何应对和处理这些事件。

    2.寻找所需材料,制作一个家庭急救包。

    这样有助于他们更加深刻地理解者单元的知识并学以致用。

    说教材:

    1.教材内容:

    本单元以“急救”为中心话题,旨在通过单元教学,使学生了解相关的急救知识,并能用所学的有关first aid的知识,根据不同情况提出急救措施,能牢固地掌握构词法和省略句,能写急救措施。

    本课时是关于烧伤的急救方法。先是介绍皮肤对人体的重要性,既而介绍烧伤的各种起因,三种不同的烧伤程度以及他们的症状和应该采取的急救措施。文章用了小标题,使文章脉络明晰。通过阅读本文, 对如何处理烧伤的知识就一目了然,并会在遇到紧急情况时镇定自若地进行急救。

    2. 地位和作用:

    本课时是第五单元的第二课时,主要讲了如何对烧伤者实施简单的急救,是本单元的重点,因此本课时的教学对第五单元的学习起着关键作用。

    说目标:

    1 教学目标根据新课程理念教材内容、教学要求,我制定了以下目标:

    知识目标:

    A.帮助学生掌握重点词汇及短语。(first aid fall ill skin organ barrier essential layer poison complex variety liquid mildmildly heal electric shock swell swollen scissors unbearable watery squeeze out over and over again bandage blouse in place)

    B. 引导学生阅读文章,并掌握烧伤的急救方法。

    A.激发学生对急救的兴趣,学会保护自己,并且能够在别人遇到危险时给与帮助。

    B.培养学生的合作学习能力。

    4.说教法

    A.复习重点词汇短语及上节课的内容。

    B.用一幅图片导入新课,让学生就这一图片进行讨论,以提高学生的学习兴趣。

    C.围绕课文设计一些练习,在引导学生在完成这些练习的同时,培养学生的多种阅读能力。

    D.以所学内容为基础,设计讨论话题来提高学生的说的能力。

    E.根据对本课时的掌握程度,学生进行自我评价。

    充分利用多媒体、投影仪等教学手段,为学生创设英语学习的环境,以增加学生的学习兴趣。

    为了完成以上教学任务,我设计了一下教学过程:

    3.Nowplease quickly glance at the information under the heading of First aidtreatment and tell me why the information is numbered?

    4.How many parts are the text divided into andwhat are they?

    Step 4 Scanning

    Answer four questions according to the text.

    Step 5 Careful reading

    Readthe text carefully and do exercises in this part.

    Good morning, everyone. I’m glad to talk about my lesson with you.First of all, I’llbegin with the analysis of the teaching materials. The lesson I teach comesfrom the senior high school English textbook.Before having this class, weshould have a good understanding of the teaching material.

    I. Analysis of the teaching materials:

    This is the first teaching period of thisunit. The central part of this period is the reading passage with the title of “ First Aid For Burns” talking about the functions of the skinand the causes, characteristics and treatments for different degree burns.

    II. Teaching aims:

    In this class, I have 3 teaching aims,that is, knowledge aims, ability aims and emotion aims.

    1) Knowledge

    -Teach students new words and expressions,such as temporary, bleed,sprain choke, first aid, fall ill and so on.

    -Enable students to have a betterunderstanding for some basic knowledge of first aid.

    2) Ability

    -Train students’ speaking, reading and writing abilities bydifferent teaching activities, such as skimming, comprehending, team work, roleplay, retelling and writing.
